About Us

The journey of traditional Sivaraj Groups starts before Independence during 1875 and now entering in the field of Wellness, Health, Education & Hospitality. First generation started a traditional herbal vaithiyasalai at Sivathapuram village, salem district for treatment of various disorders.
It was founded in 07.07.1875 and became a notable success story. Over the next few years, the acceptance herbal medicines and efficiency made successful in treating patients, they travelled at various places in Tamil Nadu for treating patients, Medicinal plants are often used to treat a variety of ailments and symptoms.
British Government opened special Post office at Agasthiar Maligai on 12.04.1927 exclusively for sending medicines to various places in India. The Indian Subcontinent is a most repository of medicinal plants that are used is traditional medicinal treatments.
Siddha is a traditional medicine having its roots in Tamil Nadu. It has been countless centuries that this system is being practiced.Traditional Medicine has gained steady international demand over the years,

our forefather has visited Singapore,Malaysia, Burma, Srilanka & Cambodia for consulting patients during 1929 and also medicines was sent by ship. By over whelming response at that time, Free Hospital was opened for poor patients on 30.05.1937 by Former Salem collector Mr.S.V.Ramamoorthy at Sivadhpuram . From First generation to following generations, the knowledge of medicines is gained orally transmitted initially to all and later it was written in palm leaf manuscript, that were followed and all the preparation of Siddha medicines also followed till now in the same way. Central Board of India had visited our Medicine manufacturing unit on 16.06.1939 and approved Pharmacy Registration Licence to our unit. After successful of three generation of traditional medicine treatment, Sivaraj Siddha Vaithiyasalai was set up by 4th generation vaithiyar Dr.Sivaraj during 1963. In the early years, treatment was given for all diseases / disorders. After few years our forefather focussed on specialty treatment like impotence, sterility, Infertility etc and made successful treatment. Dr.Sivaraj has made and gifted a brand identity that is “ Sivaraj Siddha Vaithiya Salai”. Fifth generation vaithiyar Dr.Sivaraj Sivakumar by the spirit of doing things differently made global identity “ Sivaraj Siddha VaithiyaSalai” through medias.
